From the first meeting with Busby Cabinets and designer Scott Childs, I had the sense that I was dealing with a company of integrity and exceptional quality. Their initial proposal and drawings blew away the competition with amazing detail and competitive pricing. Scott Childs listened to what I wanted and offered up some creative and workable solutions including three different designs. Once we decided on the design, Busby’s proprietary drawings provided us with a true sense of what my kitchen would look like and it made such a difference. We met with Jack Busby, the owner, who turned out to be more of a perfectionist than we were. Our job was done on time and on budget and Busby exceeded our expectations in every way and at every stage. We didn’t have a single criticism! Ray Sydnor, one of Busby’s installers did a superlative job installing our cabinets. He truly takes a great deal of pride in his work! It was a pleasure to work with this company from start to completion. Our cabinets are a beautiful part of our home!
We did an addition and full makeover of our home with extensive cabinetry by Busby. The results are incredible! The wood and finishes are beautiful, the drawers and cabinets all have self-stop closure and glide smoothly. The men who put cabinets together and did the finish work on site were true artisans who took a lot of care in making sure the finished product was perfect. Planning was critical and going in I did not realize the amount of time it would take from design to install, so if you are doing a big job with custom cabinets make sure you get a good head start and review, review, review the plans to make sure you are getting the function you want and need. If you put the work in on the front end, you will be so happy with your results! Busby is on a whole different level than any other cabinet company I’ve ever been involved with. They did an excellent job.
As a house builder in London we are used to the process of buying high end cabinets. However, for our home on Florida we chose by recomendation Busby. We have never experienced the absolute choice design and quality of cabinets and install that this company provided to us which can only be described as ‘World Class’. Clearly, the product is high end but the finished quality is no doubt an investment and an enhancement to the value of our home over and above the cost. Notwithstanding the pleasure of living with these products. The whole house including Kitchen, Laundry, Library, Game Room and Bathrooms were all from Busby and with wood carcass painted doors and glazed finishes we are delighted with the finished product.
We have had the privilege of working with Busby Cabinets on 3 different occasions. We find their design process and finished products to be all they promise and more. The other day I was using a product for removing sticky residue from a glass picture frame (you know the annoying ones that should peel right off). I did not replace the lid while I was using the solution and knocked it with my elbow – all over the kitchen counter and a cabinet door, inside and out. I panicked as I was sure I had ruined the beautiful finish! I quickly wiped it up and rinsed it with water. And to my surprise, you could not tell anything had ever happened! That is a testimonial to their quality finishing process and my complements to everyone that is responsible for the end result. They are true professionals, who know their product. They listen to the customer, understand their taste and then put it into action. I look forward to our next endeavor with Busby Cabinets.

I was fortunate enough to have been put in touch with Busby Cabinets by Cathy Blame of Sub-Zero-Wolfe. I met with them and gave them my ideas and thoughts of what I wanted for my professional kitchen for my cooking school, Truffles and Trifles in Orlando, Florida. When beginning the process we interviewed four different companies. The representative from Busby, Dave Stanley impressed us with creative ideas for our project and his professionalism. Then when we saw the Busby showroom we knew Busby was the right choice as the quality and designs they offered were top notch. We soon realized why homes in the Central Florida area will advertise in the MLS (Realtor database) their kitchen was done by Busby. Some of our favorite things we added to our kitchen from their showroom was a corner pantry, motorized auto close for the garbage and adjustable peg board drawer for plates/bowls.
