The Busby Cabinets heritage in high-quality design and manufacturing began nearly four decades ago, when Jack L. Busby changed custom cabinetry in Florida forever.
During the early 1970’s, as a young entrepreneur armed only with a strong work ethic and passion for working with his hands, Busby set out to open his own business. When he started his new business right out of high school, he had very little cash, no employees and no facilities to speak of. The only tangible item he possessed was his own creative skill.
Founded in 1974, Busby Cabinets started out building modest kitchen and bath cabinetry from a barn in the tiny, rural town of Lacrosse, Florida.
Now, nearly 40 years later, Jack, along with childhood friend and wife Debbie Busby have developed the once small cabinet shop into a state-of-the-art, 45,000 square foot Busby Cabinets factory that houses the latest in custom cabinetry software, production and distribution equipment.
